Commercial Bank wins Best Cash Management and Transaction Bank in Qatar award

Doha: Having undergone the stringent evaluation of the MEA Transaction Finance Awards 2020 program, Commercial Bank, Qatar’s first private bank, emerges for another year as market leader in cash management and transaction banking, and garners a new award for 2020 from The Asian Banker: The Best Cash Management and Transaction Bank in Qatar award.
According to The Asian Banker, Commercial Bank “stood out as a digital pacesetter relative to its peers in Qatar,” and this is largely due to the significant digital adoption the Bank had undertaken before the COVID-19 pandemic.
A man has been charged after an alleged armed robbery on the Central Coast.
Police have been told about 4.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 20 January 2021), a man entered a variety store within a shopping centre on Alison Road, Wyong, and allegedly threatened an employee – a 25-year-old woman – with a knife.
The man allegedly took money from the cash register before fleeing the store towards Wyong Train Station.
Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District attended the station and arrested a 49-year-old man following a short foot pursuit.
He was taken to Wyong Police Station and charged with robbery armed with an offensive weapon.
